The emphasis is not on performance or achievement\, but on simplicity\, sincerity\, and allowing the heart to open in its own way. \n\n\n\nWe will keep silence throughout the retreat and abstain from social media\, news\, and messaging\, so that the mind can gradually settle and the heart has space to breathe. \n\n\n\nThis retreat is for those who long for silence\, depth\, and an atmosphere of genuine practice. \n\n\n\nPrice \n\n\n\n* 4900 SEK for participants who live nearby and sleep at home* 5500 SEK for camping on our compound or at our neighbor’s place\, with access to bathroom* 6500 SEK for a shared double room* 7500 SEK for the only single room \n\n\n\nSign-upTo register\, please write to Mårten and Bishakha at:mozon63@gmail.comTel: 0739-347566 \n\n\n\nAbout the teacherStephan Pende Wormland is a meditation teacher with decades of experience in Buddhist practice\, mindfulness\, and contemplative work. SUMMARY:Drop-In Meditation - When Things Fall Apart
DESCRIPTION:Drop-In MeditationWhen Things Fall Apart \n\n\n\nMeditation evenings in Copenhagen inspired by Pema Chödrön’s book When Things Fall Apart \n\n\n\nAfter some years of pause\, I am happy to offer Drop-In Meditation again in Copenhagen. Some of you may remember these evenings from before. Others may be coming for the first time. Both are very welcome. \n\n\n\nWe live in a time where uncertainty has become impossible to ignore. Things we relied upon — outer structures\, roles\, identities\, plans\, even ideas about ourselves — can suddenly shift or disappear. \n\n\n\nThe question is not how to stop things from falling apart. The question is: \n\n\n\nCan we learn to meet life differently? Can we find a deeper ground within ourselves that is not so easily shaken? \n\n\n\nThis series of meditation evenings is loosely inspired by Pema Chödrön’s honest and beautiful book When Things Fall Apart. Together we will explore how meditation can help us stay present in the middle of uncertainty\, emotional difficulty\, change\, and everyday challenges. \n\n\n\nWe will draw from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition\, but the evenings will be practical\, accessible\, and rooted in ordinary life. You do not need to be Buddhist\, and you do not need previous meditation experience. \n\n\n\nWe will explore how to meet difficult emotions\, fear\, restlessness\, conflict\, and the feeling of losing ground — not by escaping them\, but by learning to stay present with more kindness\, courage\, and clarity. \n\n\n\nThe evenings will include: \n\n\n\n– Short teachings– Guided meditations– Practical tools for daily life– Time for questions and dialogue \n\n\n\nThe emphasis will be on meditation practice — but not only as something we do on the cushion. We will explore how awareness\, kindness\, and inner steadiness can become part of ordinary life\, especially in those moments where we usually become reactive\, contracted\, or lost in old patterns. \n\n\n\nThe course will also offer ways to develop a regular meditation practice and to bring tools from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition into daily life — so that we can find a place of real peace within ourselves\, stay connected with what is true\, and respond to life with more clarity and love. \n\n\n\nThese evenings are open both to experienced practitioners and complete beginners. \n\n\n\nYou are welcome to come to individual evenings as drop-ins\, but the series will gradually build on itself\, so joining regularly will deepen the experience. \n\n\n\nTime: Tuesdays\, 19.00 – 21.00Suggested contribution: 150 kr\, pay with MobilePay or cash \n\n\n\nNo registration needed — just come. \n\n\n\nLocation:Karmapa TrustGammel Mønt 251117 København K \n\n\n\nApprox. 5–10 minutes walk from Nørreport Station. \n\n\n\nDates:1 September15 September29 September27 October10 November24 November8 December \n\n\n\nStephan has practiced meditation for more than 40 years within different traditions. He was ordained as a Buddhist monk for 11 years and spent many years in intensive meditation retreat. He has taught meditation and Buddhist psychology for many years\, combining traditional Buddhist practice with insights from Western psychology. His approach is warm\, practical\, and direct\, with an emphasis on bringing meditation alive in everyday life.

SUMMARY:Assisi Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The Mighty Silence of Assisi \n\n\n\n\n\nAssisi Retreat 2026 \n\n\n\nThe Mighty Silence of Assisi \n\n\n\nAssisi breathes devotion. \n\n\n\nFrom dawn until night\, monks and nuns chant\, walk and pray in a rhythm centuries old. We attune ourselves to this sacred rhythm ~ and to the still\, golden light of late autumn ~ combined with silence\, meditation\, and a cacao ceremony. \n\n\n\nSaint Francis and Clare devoted their lives to serving from the heart — to brotherhood and sisterhood\, silence\, prayer\, meditation\, music\, nature\, animals\, humility\, simplicity\, faith\, purity and care for those most in need. \n\n\n\nWe have walked in their footsteps and have been drawn back to the energy of Assisi again and again. \n\n\n\nThis invitation comes from the deepest corner of our hearts. \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this year’s Assisi retreat is to experience the Mighty Silence that is always available — the peace\, the love — which we can find in everything that nourishes us: the sun and its warmth\, the food\, the air we breathe\, the earth we walk upon\, feeling our singing hearts. \n\n\n\nThe practice includes:– Heart practice coming home in the heart – arriving in the body and breath.– We connect to the True Self through awareness practice.– Walking meditation grounds us—each step slow and present.– We visit sacred sites\, allowing the places themselves to initiate us and support the practice.– Forgiveness practice opens space to release what we carry and brings shadow into light.– Devotional practice inspired by Saint Clare of Assisi and Francis of Assisi—rooted in simplicity and connection. \n\n\n\nOur retreat place is located on the backside of Assisi\, in Santa Croce — quiet and secluded from tourism\, yet within walking distance of the Basilica of Saint Francis 🌞 \n\n\n\nhttps://www.casalesantamargherita.com/en \n\n\n\n🌙 Tentativee Daily Rhythm 🌾 \n\n\n\nMornings begin with a silent sunrise walk from our retreat home to the tomb of Saint Francis inside the Basilica. \n\n\n\nThe silence here is thick — like velvet. People sit.Walk slowly.Cry. \n\n\n\nThe air is filled with guitar\, prayer\, and the quiet presence of something far greater than us. It feels as if Francis never left. \n\n\n\nThen we walk back together\, slowly and in silence. \n\n\n\nAt the retreat home: \n\n\n\nPerhaps… \n\n\n\nMeditation ( 5-6 hours each day) \n\n\n\nSinging \n\n\n\nMindful movement \n\n\n\nBeing with difficult feelings \n\n\n\nListening to sacred chants in churches. Initiation into the lives and spirit of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. \n\n\n\nA simple\, gentle rhythm of presence and devotion. We are most likely blessed with a musician who can support us in singing songs of Francis and Clare — you can explore the songs in this album: Brother Sun & Sister Moon. \n\n\n\nOur dear friend\, a deeply awakened meditation practitioner and one of the most empathic and supportive beings you could wish to have close to you in a retreat — Alex — prepares our meals. He loves food\, presence and care\, and you can feel it in every meal. \n\n\n\nRetreat Details \n\n\n\n• Limited to 12 participants (5 spaces remaining) \n\n\n\n• Dates: October 12–18\, 2026• Arrival: October 12\, between 16:00–18:00 \n\n\n\nAddressStrada Comunale Santa Croce 706081 Assisi\, Umbria\, Italy(Approx. 1and a half hour walk from the train station) \n\n\n\n• Opening Dinner & Welcome Circle: 19:00• Check-out: 09:00 on October 18th• Contribution: €1200(Includes retreat\, accommodation\, and all meals) • Transportation is not included \n\n\n\nTravel TipLow-cost flights are often available to Rome with Ryanair. From Rome: frequent and affordable trains to Assisi (approx. 3 hours). \n\n\n\nRegistration & Payment \n\n\n\nOnly 12 spaces available (5 remaining). \n\n\n\nWrite to: ngapende@gmail.com to check availability. \n\n\n\nOnce confirmed\, full payment is required to secure your place. \n\n\n\nPayment is made via: https://www.stephanpende.com/ donation/ \n\n\n\n🍀 Is This For You?A retreat is an invitation to go inside. \n\n\n\nTo feel your feelings rather than projecting them outward or talking them away. \n\n\n\nThis is a silent retreat. A time to experience the preciousness of being together in silence — also when we walk to churches\, share meals\, and move through the day. \n\n\n\nSo we are where we are.We do what we do.We are with what is.Instead of going for a walk in the head\,We open space for joy and silence through direct feeling: the soles of the feet touching the earth as we walk\, the scent of pine trees\, even the uncomfortable feelings of awkwardness when we don’t speak where we normally would. \n\n\n\nFalling in love with silence. \n\n\n\nSometimes people say it is lonely or unloving not to express. Yet so much is expressed — and truly held — in silence: So try something new. Become more free and less reactive in the space of silence. \n\n\n\nBe an instrument of peace in the world simply by how you walk\, step by step — not ahead. \n\n\n\nWhen strong emotions arise: \n\n\n\nRetreat makes everything bigger. Sometimes someone becomes overwhelmed — and in a way\, this is not a failure. It is the practice working. When helpful\, we may guide a short\, simple floor practice in a circle — a gentle structure for meeting a difficult feeling directly\, without becoming the story or character inside it. The group witnesses. Learns. \n\n\n\n🥾 Extend Your Journey \n\n\n\nIf you feel called to combine this meditation retreat with a pilgrimage walk\, you can walk in the footsteps of Francis from Assisi to La Verna (the monastery where he received stigmata)\, or walk around the Rieti Valley (medieval preserved villages\, beautiful serene nature\, sacred caves\, forests and sanctuaries). \n\n\n\n🔥 Meet you around the sacred fire in the Heart of Francis & Claire. \n\n\n\nStephan & Kristina \n\n\n\nAbout Kristina & Stephan \n\n\n\nKristina and Stephan are longtime spiritual companions\, retreat leaders and teachers rooted in meditation and psychotherapy. Together\, they create sacred spaces for silence\, healing and awakening. \n\n\n\nKristina brings her deep experience as a psychotherapist\, Vipassana and healer. Her work is infused with devotion\, nature and animal connection and the healing power of presence. \n\n\n\nStephan\, a former Tibetan monk with over 40 years of meditation experience\, weaves Buddhist insight and nondual teachings into accessible\, heartfelt guidance. \n\n\n\nTheir retreats are known for their depth\, gentleness\, and authenticity — offering a space to come home to yourself\, again and again.

SUMMARY:Die Weisheit der Yoginīs
DESCRIPTION:Eine Begegnung mit den Frauen des buddhistischen Tantra \n\n\n\nVortrag\n\n\n\nFreitag\, 30. Oktober 2026 · 19:00–21:00 Uhr \n\n\n\nSeminar\n\n\n\nSamstag\, 31. Oktober 2026 · 10:00–18:00 Uhr(Pause 13:30–15:00 Uhr) \n\n\n\nSonntag\, 1. SUMMARY:10-Day Christmas & New Year Vipassana Retreat
DESCRIPTION:10-Day Vipassana Retreat During Christmas & New Year\n\n\n\n23 December 2026 – 2 January 2027Gudhjem\, Bornholm \n\n\n\nSpend Christmas and New Year immersed in noble silence amid the beautiful natural surroundings of Bornholm—hopefully embraced by blue skies and sparkling snow\, creating a true winter wonderland. \n\n\n\nInstead of the busyness of the holiday season\, join like-minded souls in stillness\, simplicity\, and deep inner work. \n\n\n\nWe begin by calming and concentrating the mind through awareness of the breath. From the fourth day onwards\, we gently transition into the practice of Vipassana. \n\n\n\nLet go of the old\, purify the mind\, and welcome the New Year with clarity\, peace\, and an open heart. \n\n\n\nA beautiful way to end one year—and begin the next. \n\n\n\nThe Practice\n\n\n\nVipassana allows us to meet everything we have pushed aside\, stored up\, or reacted to—triggers\, physical pain\, difficult emotions\, restless thinking\, and life’s challenges. \n\n\n\nRather than suppressing or escaping our experience\, we learn to observe it with equanimity. \n\n\n\nAs awareness deepens\, the mind gradually becomes less reactive. Old conditioning begins to dissolve\, and we discover an inner stillness untouched by changing thoughts\, emotions\, and sensations. \n\n\n\nThroughout the retreat\, we cultivate concentration through awareness of the breath and develop equanimity by observing bodily sensations with balance and acceptance. \n\n\n\nIs This Retreat for You?\n\n\n\nA silent retreat is an invitation to turn inward—to feel your feelings rather than projecting them or talking them away. \n\n\n\nUpon arrival\, we collect all phones. This frees you from temptation and helps everyone remain fully present. If you need to remain reachable for someone close to you\, we can provide an emergency contact number. \n\n\n\nPlease only join if you can commit to the complete schedule. The mind may create excuses: I need to rest\, walk\, or stop sitting. This reactivity is part of the practice. \n\n\n\nThrough Noble Silence and Strong Determination: \n\n\n\nWe are where we are.We do what we do.We are with what is. \n\n\n\nInstead of walking in the mind\, we experience what is here: our feet touching the earth\, the feeling of stone and snow\, and even the discomfort of remaining silent where we would normally speak. \n\n\n\nRetreat can intensify emotions. Feeling overwhelmed is not a failure—the practice may be reaching something important. \n\n\n\nWe support you through teacher interviews and individual check-ins\, helping you integrate what arises and answering your questions. \n\n\n\nYour Teachers\n\n\n\nKristina and Stephan have guided meditation retreats together for many years. \n\n\n\nDrawing on decades of dedicated practice\, they support participants in navigating samsara’s changing landscape with compassion\, presence\, and wisdom. \n\n\n\nAgain and again\, participants discover that physical pain softens\, emotional storms pass\, compulsive thinking loses its grip\, and even the most intense experiences transform when met with steady awareness and equanimity. \n\n\n\nThe methods we teach are the methods we live. \n\n\n\nIncluded\n\n\n\n\n\n10 days of guided Vipassana practice\n\n\n\nNoble silence\n\n\n\nDaily meditation instruction\n\n\n\nVegetarian meals\n\n\n\nAccommodation in comfortable shared double rooms with separate beds\n\n\n\nOngoing teacher support\n\n\n\nA maximum of 10 participants\, ensuring a personal and intimate retreat experience\n\n\n\n\n\nDates\n\n\n\nArrival: 23 December 2026\, between 16:00 and 18:00Departure: 2 January 2027 at 10:00 \n\n\n\nLocation and how to get there\n\n\n\nGamlevældevej 32 \, 3760 Gudhjem\, Bornholm \n\n\n\nArrival – 23 December \n\n\n\nYou can fly directly from Copenhagen to Bornholm. \n\n\n\nA cheaper option is to take the KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN bus and ferry from Copenhagen or Copenhagen Airport to Rønne. \n\n\n\nWe can pick you up at around 3:00 pm from either Rønne Ferry Terminal or Bornholm Airport. \n\n\n\nAlternatively\, you can take a taxi\, Uber\, or bus to: \n\n\n\nGamlevældevej 32\, 3760 Gudhjem \n\n\n\nCheck-in is between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. \n\n\n\nDeparture – 2 January \n\n\n\nThe retreat ends at 10:00 am.
