SUMMARY:32.
\n\n\n\nAnmeldung hier

Not something we need to create\, but something we can learn to recognize and trust. \n\n\n\nThe retreat will include silent sitting meditation\, guided heart practices\, walking meditation\, mindful movement\, gentle contemplative inquiry\, and space to rest deeply in stillness. The emphasis is not on performance or achievement\, but on simplicity\, sincerity\, and allowing the heart to open in its own way. \n\n\n\nWe will keep silence throughout the retreat and abstain from social media\, news\, and messaging\, so that the mind can gradually settle and the heart has space to breathe. \n\n\n\nThis retreat is for those who long for silence\, depth\, and an atmosphere of genuine practice. \n\n\n\nPrice \n\n\n\n* 4900 SEK for participants who live nearby and sleep at home* 5500 SEK for camping on our compound or at our neighbor’s place\, with access to bathroom* 6500 SEK for a shared double room* 7500 SEK for the only single room \n\n\n\nSign-upTo register\, please write to Mårten and Bishakha at:mozon63@gmail.comTel: 0739-347566 \n\n\n\nAbout the teacherStephan Pende Wormland is a meditation teacher with decades of experience in Buddhist practice\, mindfulness\, and contemplative work. SUMMARY:Assisi Retreat - Booked out
DESCRIPTION:The Mighty Silence of Assisi \n\n\n\n\n\nAssisi Retreat 2026 \n\n\n\nThe Mighty Silence of Assisi \n\n\n\nAssisi breathes devotion. \n\n\n\nFrom dawn until night\, monks and nuns chant\, walk and pray in a rhythm centuries old. We attune ourselves to this sacred rhythm ~ and to the still\, golden light of late autumn ~ combined with silence\, meditation\, and a cacao ceremony. \n\n\n\nSaint Francis and Clare devoted their lives to serving from the heart — to brotherhood and sisterhood\, silence\, prayer\, meditation\, music\, nature\, animals\, humility\, simplicity\, faith\, purity and care for those most in need. \n\n\n\nWe have walked in their footsteps and have been drawn back to the energy of Assisi again and again. \n\n\n\nThis invitation comes from the deepest corner of our hearts. \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this year’s Assisi retreat is to experience the Mighty Silence that is always available — the peace\, the love — which we can find in everything that nourishes us: the sun and its warmth\, the food\, the air we breathe\, the earth we walk upon\, feeling our singing hearts. \n\n\n\nThe practice includes:– Heart practice coming home in the heart – arriving in the body and breath.– We connect to the True Self through awareness practice.– Walking meditation grounds us—each step slow and present.– We visit sacred sites\, allowing the places themselves to initiate us and support the practice.– Forgiveness practice opens space to release what we carry and brings shadow into light.– Devotional practice inspired by Saint Clare of Assisi and Francis of Assisi—rooted in simplicity and connection. \n\n\n\nOur retreat place is located on the backside of Assisi\, in Santa Croce — quiet and secluded from tourism\, yet within walking distance of the Basilica of Saint Francis 🌞 \n\n\n\nhttps://www.casalesantamargherita.com/en \n\n\n\n🌙 Tentativee Daily Rhythm 🌾 \n\n\n\nMornings begin with a silent sunrise walk from our retreat home to the tomb of Saint Francis inside the Basilica. \n\n\n\nThe silence here is thick — like velvet. People sit.Walk slowly.Cry. \n\n\n\nThe air is filled with guitar\, prayer\, and the quiet presence of something far greater than us. It feels as if Francis never left. \n\n\n\nThen we walk back together\, slowly and in silence. \n\n\n\nAt the retreat home: \n\n\n\nPerhaps… \n\n\n\nMeditation ( 5-6 hours each day) \n\n\n\nSinging \n\n\n\nMindful movement \n\n\n\nBeing with difficult feelings \n\n\n\nListening to sacred chants in churches. Initiation into the lives and spirit of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. \n\n\n\nA simple\, gentle rhythm of presence and devotion. We are most likely blessed with a musician who can support us in singing songs of Francis and Clare — you can explore the songs in this album: Brother Sun & Sister Moon. \n\n\n\nOur dear friend\, a deeply awakened meditation practitioner and one of the most empathic and supportive beings you could wish to have close to you in a retreat — Alex — prepares our meals. He loves food\, presence and care\, and you can feel it in every meal. \n\n\n\nRetreat Details \n\n\n\n• Limited to 12 participants (5 spaces remaining) \n\n\n\n• Dates: October 12–18\, 2026• Arrival: October 12\, between 16:00–18:00 \n\n\n\nAddressStrada Comunale Santa Croce 706081 Assisi\, Umbria\, Italy(Approx. 1and a half hour walk from the train station) \n\n\n\n• Opening Dinner & Welcome Circle: 19:00• Check-out: 09:00 on October 18th• Contribution: €1200(Includes retreat\, accommodation\, and all meals) • Transportation is not included \n\n\n\nTravel TipLow-cost flights are often available to Rome with Ryanair. From Rome: frequent and affordable trains to Assisi (approx. 3 hours). \n\n\n\nRegistration & Payment \n\n\n\nOnly 12 spaces available (5 remaining). \n\n\n\nWrite to: ngapende@gmail.com to check availability. \n\n\n\nOnce confirmed\, full payment is required to secure your place. \n\n\n\nPayment is made via: https://www.stephanpende.com/ donation/ \n\n\n\n🍀 Is This For You?A retreat is an invitation to go inside. \n\n\n\nTo feel your feelings rather than projecting them outward or talking them away. \n\n\n\nThis is a silent retreat. A time to experience the preciousness of being together in silence — also when we walk to churches\, share meals\, and move through the day. \n\n\n\nSo we are where we are.We do what we do.We are with what is.Instead of going for a walk in the head\,We open space for joy and silence through direct feeling: the soles of the feet touching the earth as we walk\, the scent of pine trees\, even the uncomfortable feelings of awkwardness when we don’t speak where we normally would. \n\n\n\nFalling in love with silence. \n\n\n\nSometimes people say it is lonely or unloving not to express. Yet so much is expressed — and truly held — in silence: So try something new. Become more free and less reactive in the space of silence. \n\n\n\nBe an instrument of peace in the world simply by how you walk\, step by step — not ahead. \n\n\n\nWhen strong emotions arise: \n\n\n\nRetreat makes everything bigger. Sometimes someone becomes overwhelmed — and in a way\, this is not a failure. It is the practice working. When helpful\, we may guide a short\, simple floor practice in a circle — a gentle structure for meeting a difficult feeling directly\, without becoming the story or character inside it. The group witnesses. Learns. \n\n\n\n🥾 Extend Your Journey \n\n\n\nIf you feel called to combine this meditation retreat with a pilgrimage walk\, you can walk in the footsteps of Francis from Assisi to La Verna (the monastery where he received stigmata)\, or walk around the Rieti Valley (medieval preserved villages\, beautiful serene nature\, sacred caves\, forests and sanctuaries). \n\n\n\n🔥 Meet you around the sacred fire in the Heart of Francis & Claire. \n\n\n\nStephan & Kristina \n\n\n\nAbout Kristina & Stephan \n\n\n\nKristina and Stephan are longtime spiritual companions\, retreat leaders and teachers rooted in meditation and psychotherapy. Together\, they create sacred spaces for silence\, healing and awakening. \n\n\n\nKristina brings her deep experience as a psychotherapist\, Vipassana and healer. Her work is infused with devotion\, nature and animal connection and the healing power of presence. \n\n\n\nStephan\, a former Tibetan monk with over 40 years of meditation experience\, weaves Buddhist insight and nondual teachings into accessible\, heartfelt guidance. \n\n\n\nTheir retreats are known for their depth\, gentleness\, and authenticity — offering a space to come home to yourself\, again and again.

SUMMARY:Drop-In Meditation - When Things Fall Apart
DESCRIPTION:Drop-In MeditationWhen Things Fall Apart \n\n\n\nMeditation evenings in Copenhagen inspired by Pema Chödrön’s book When Things Fall Apart \n\n\n\nAfter some years of pause\, I am happy to offer Drop-In Meditation again in Copenhagen. Some of you may remember these evenings from before. Others may be coming for the first time. Both are very welcome. \n\n\n\nWe live in a time where uncertainty has become impossible to ignore. Things we relied upon — outer structures\, roles\, identities\, plans\, even ideas about ourselves — can suddenly shift or disappear. \n\n\n\nThe question is not how to stop things from falling apart. The question is: \n\n\n\nCan we learn to meet life differently? Can we find a deeper ground within ourselves that is not so easily shaken? \n\n\n\nThis series of meditation evenings is loosely inspired by Pema Chödrön’s honest and beautiful book When Things Fall Apart. Together we will explore how meditation can help us stay present in the middle of uncertainty\, emotional difficulty\, change\, and everyday challenges. \n\n\n\nWe will draw from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition\, but the evenings will be practical\, accessible\, and rooted in ordinary life. You do not need to be Buddhist\, and you do not need previous meditation experience. \n\n\n\nWe will explore how to meet difficult emotions\, fear\, restlessness\, conflict\, and the feeling of losing ground — not by escaping them\, but by learning to stay present with more kindness\, courage\, and clarity. \n\n\n\nThe evenings will include: \n\n\n\n– Short teachings– Guided meditations– Practical tools for daily life– Time for questions and dialogue \n\n\n\nThe emphasis will be on meditation practice — but not only as something we do on the cushion. We will explore how awareness\, kindness\, and inner steadiness can become part of ordinary life\, especially in those moments where we usually become reactive\, contracted\, or lost in old patterns. \n\n\n\nThe course will also offer ways to develop a regular meditation practice and to bring tools from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition into daily life — so that we can find a place of real peace within ourselves\, stay connected with what is true\, and respond to life with more clarity and love. \n\n\n\nThese evenings are open both to experienced practitioners and complete beginners. \n\n\n\nYou are welcome to come to individual evenings as drop-ins\, but the series will gradually build on itself\, so joining regularly will deepen the experience. \n\n\n\nTime: Tuesdays\, 19.00 – 21.00Contribution: 150 kr\, pay with MobilePay or cash \n\n\n\nNo registration needed — just come. \n\n\n\nLocation:Karmapa TrustGammel Mønt 251117 København K \n\n\n\nApprox. 5–10 minutes walk from Nørreport Station. \n\n\n\nDates:1 September15 September29 September27 October10 November24 November8 December \n\n\n\nStephan has practiced meditation for more than 40 years within different traditions. He was ordained as a Buddhist monk for 11 years and spent many years in intensive meditation retreat. He has taught meditation and Buddhist psychology for many years\, combining traditional Buddhist practice with insights from Western psychology. His approach is warm\, practical\, and direct\, with an emphasis on bringing meditation alive in everyday life.

SUMMARY:Just drop it! - Practice Afternoon
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, 14th November13:30–17:30 \n\n\n\nØrestad Skole Arne Jacobsens Allé 21\, 2300 København S  \n\n\n\nJUST DROP ITDrop out of the mind and rest in being. \n\n\n\nA practice afternoon with StephanSaturday November 14 · 13:30–17:30 \n\n\n\nSometimes we become so caught in our thoughts that the world seems no larger than the story we are telling ourselves. We rehearse conversations\, anticipate difficulties\, and try to think our way into peace. \n\n\n\nWhat happens when\, for a moment\, we let that whole project rest? \n\n\n\nThis afternoon is an invitation to explore a simple instruction: drop out of the mind and rest in being. Feel the body sitting here. Hear the sounds around you. Become curious about the awareness in which thoughts come and go—and the possibility that who we are is more spacious than our familiar stories suggest. \n\n\n\n“Just drop it” can sound like another demand. We will approach it with tenderness. Thoughts are welcome; we can practise letting them pass without following every one. \n\n\n\nThrough guided meditations\, silent sitting\, and gentle mindful movement\, we will explore this direct approach together. There will be time to slow down\, take a breath\, and rest without needing to improve ourselves. \n\n\n\nThis is the spirit of the direct path: becoming curious about what is already here\, even in the midst of a busy\, unfinished life. Perhaps the mystical begins quite simply—with meeting an ordinary moment more fully. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome\, whether you are new to meditation or have practised for many years. \n\n\n\nCome as you are. Let’s see what happens when we give ourselves a little less to do. \n\n\n\nStephan Pende Wormland\n\n\n\nStephan is a meditation teacher with an MA in Clinical Psychology and training in Gestalt therapy. He has practised meditation for more than forty years\, including six years in intensive retreat and eleven years as a Tibetan Buddhist monk. For over twenty years\, he has guided retreats and individuals\, bringing together Buddhist meditation\, Western psychology\, heart-based practice\, and a direct exploration of awareness. \n\n\n\nPrice: 300 DK \n\n\n\nRegistration and Payment \n\n\n\nYou register through payment with MobilePay to 50363688. SUMMARY:Christmas & New Year Vipassana Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Vipassana Retreat during Christmas & New Year\n\n\n\n25 December 2026 – 2 January 2027\, it is also possible to join the 26th or 27thGudhjem\, Bornholm \n\n\n\nOne Full Week Vipassana Retreat on Bornholm \n\n\n\nArrival: 25 December\, 16:00–18:00Departure: 2 January\, 10:00 \n\n\n\nIf you would like to spend all of Christmas with your family\, it is also possible to arrive on 26th or 27th December. \n\n\n\nSpend the quiet days between Christmas and New Year immersed in Noble Silence in the beautiful natural surroundings of Bornholm — perhaps beneath blue winter skies and sparkling snow. \n\n\n\nStep away from the busyness of the holiday season and enter a week of stillness\, simplicity and deep inner practice. \n\n\n\nWe begin by calming and concentrating the mind through awareness of the breath. From there\, we gradually move into the practice of Vipassana — learning to observe the changing sensations of the body with awareness and equanimity. \n\n\n\nLet go of the old\, purify the mind\, and enter the New Year with greater clarity\, peace and an open heart. \n\n\n\nA beautiful way to end one year — and begin the next. \n\n\n\nThe Practice \n\n\n\nVipassana invites us to meet what we normally push away\, react to or become entangled in — physical pain\, difficult emotions\, restless thinking\, triggers and the challenges of life. \n\n\n\nRather than suppressing or escaping our experience\, we learn to stay present and observe it with equanimity. \n\n\n\nAs awareness deepens\, the mind gradually becomes less reactive. Old patterns and conditioning begin to loosen\, and beneath the constant movement of thoughts\, emotions and sensations\, we may discover a deeper inner stillness. \n\n\n\nThroughout the retreat\, we cultivate concentration through awareness of the breath and develop equanimity through direct observation of bodily sensations. \n\n\n\nIs This Retreat for You? \n\n\n\nA silent retreat is an invitation to turn inward — to feel what is here rather than immediately talking about it\, acting it out or moving away from it. \n\n\n\nUpon arrival\, we collect all phones. This helps create a space where everyone can be fully present. If someone close to you needs to be able to reach you in an emergency\, we can provide an emergency contact number. \n\n\n\nPlease join only if you are willing to commit to the retreat schedule. At times\, the mind may say: I need to rest. I need to walk. I don’t want to sit anymore. Meeting this reactivity with awareness is itself part of the practice. \n\n\n\nThrough Noble Silence and Strong Determination\, we practice: \n\n\n\nWe are where we are.We do what we do.We are with what is. \n\n\n\nA retreat can bring strong emotions and sensations to the surface. We support you through teacher interviews and individual check-ins\, helping you understand and integrate what arises and answering questions about your practice. \n\n\n\nYour Teachers \n\n\n\nKristina and Stephan have guided meditation retreats together for many years. \n\n\n\nDrawing on decades of dedicated meditation practice\, they support participants in meeting the changing landscape of body and mind with presence\, compassion and equanimity. \n\n\n\nAgain and again\, we see how physical discomfort can soften\, emotional storms can pass and compulsive thinking can loosen its grip when experience is met with steady awareness rather than resistance. \n\n\n\nThe methods we teach are the methods we live. \n\n\n\nIncluded \n\n\n\n\n\nOne full week of guided Vipassana practice and Noble Silence\n\n\n\nDaily meditation instruction and teacher support\n\n\n\nVegetarian meals\n\n\n\nAccommodation in comfortable shared double rooms with separate beds\n\n\n\nMaximum 8 participants\, creating a personal and intimate retreat environment\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation \n\n\n\nGamlevældevej 323760 GudhjemBornholm \n\n\n\nYou can fly directly from Copenhagen to Bornholm. SUMMARY:Assisi Easter Retreat
DESCRIPTION:THE BLOSSOMING HEART OF ASSISI 🌾\n\n\n\nAn Easter Retreat in Sacred Silence\, Devotion and Renewal \n\n\n\nAssisi breathes devotion. \n\n\n\nFrom dawn until night\, monks and nuns chant\, walk and pray in a rhythm that is centuries old. During this retreat\, we attune ourselves to this sacred rhythm—and to the tender awakening of spring. \n\n\n\nThe hills turn green\, wildflowers emerge\, birdsong fills the morning air\, and the soft spring light touches the ancient stones of Assisi. \n\n\n\nThrough silence\, meditation\, heart-based practices\, singing and mindful movement\, we open ourselves to the blossoming that is also taking place within us. \n\n\n\nSaint Francis and Saint Clare devoted their lives to serving from the heart—to brotherhood and sisterhood\, silence\, prayer\, music\, nature\, animals\, humility\, simplicity\, faith\, purity and care for those most in need. \n\n\n\nWe have walked in their footsteps and have been drawn back to the spirit of Assisi again and again. \n\n\n\nThis invitation comes from the deepest corner of our hearts. \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this spring retreat is to experience The Blossoming Heart—the peace\, love and aliveness that become available when we slow down and become fully present. \n\n\n\nWe rediscover what truly nourishes us: the warmth of the sun\, the food we receive\, the air we breathe\, the earth beneath our feet\, the awakening of nature and the quiet song of our own hearts. \n\n\n\n🌿 Our Retreat Home\n\n\n\nOur retreat home is located in Santa Croce\, on the quiet side of Assisi—peaceful and secluded from tourism\, yet within walking distance of the Basilica of Saint Francis. \n\n\n\nVisit the website of Casale Santa Margherita \n\n\n\n🌙 Tentative Daily Rhythm\n\n\n\nOur mornings begin with a silent sunrise walk from our retreat home to the tomb of Saint Francis inside the Basilica. \n\n\n\nIn spring\, Assisi awakens around us. The morning air is fresh\, the first light touches the valley\, and birds sing as we walk. \n\n\n\nThe silence inside the Basilica is deep and tangible—almost like velvet. \n\n\n\nPeople sit.Walk slowly.Pray.Cry. \n\n\n\nThe air is filled with prayer\, music and the quiet presence of something far greater than ourselves. \n\n\n\nIt feels as though Francis never left. \n\n\n\nAfterwards\, we walk back together\, slowly and in silence. \n\n\n\nAt our retreat home\, the daily rhythm may include: \n\n\n\n\n\nFive to six hours of meditation\n\n\n\nSinging and sacred music\n\n\n\nMindful movement\n\n\n\nHeart-based practices\n\n\n\nForgiveness practice\n\n\n\nListening to sacred chants in the churches\n\n\n\nEntering more deeply into the lives and teachings of Saint Francis and Saint Clare\n\n\n\nTime in silence and spring nature\n\n\n\n\n\nIt is a simple and gentle rhythm of presence\, devotion and inner blossoming. \n\n\n\nWe also hope to be joined by a musician who can support us in singing songs connected with Francis and Clare. \n\n\n\nCare and presence will be part of every meal we share. \n\n\n\n🌸 Retreat Details\n\n\n\n\n\nDates: 23–29 March 2027\n\n\n\nArrival: 23 March\, between 16:00 and 18:00\n\n\n\nOpening dinner and welcome circle: 18:30\n\n\n\nDeparture: 29 March at 10:00\n\n\n\nContribution: €1\,200\n\n\n\nGroup size: Limited to 12 participants\n\n\n\nRetreat\, accommodation and all meals are included\n\n\n\nTransportation is not included\n\n\n\n\n\nAddress:Strada Comunale Santa Croce 706081 Assisi\, UmbriaItaly \n\n\n\n🍀 Is This Retreat for You?\n\n\n\nA retreat is an invitation to turn inward—to feel what is present without immediately projecting it outward or explaining it away. \n\n\n\nThis is a silent meditation retreat. \n\n\n\nIt is a time to experience the preciousness of being together in silence—even as we walk to churches\, share meals and move through the day. \n\n\n\nWe are where we are.We do what we do.We are with what is. \n\n\n\nInstead of going for a walk in the mind\, we open ourselves to the direct experience of life: \n\n\n\nThe soles of our feet touching the earth. The fragrance of spring flowers and pine trees. The warmth of the sun.The sounds of birds and church bells.Even the discomfort of not speaking when we normally would. \n\n\n\nSlowly\, we may begin to fall in love with silence. \n\n\n\nSome people imagine silence as lonely or unloving because we are not expressing ourselves through words. Yet so much can be communicated—and deeply held—in silence. \n\n\n\nTry something new. \n\n\n\nDiscover greater freedom and less reactivity within the spaciousness of silence. \n\n\n\nBecome an instrument of peace through the way you walk—one conscious step at a time. \n\n\n\n🔥 Meet us around the sacred fire in the hearts of Francis and Clare. \n\n\n\nWith love\, \n\n\n\nStephan & Kristina \n\n\n\nAbout Kristina and Stephan\n\n\n\nKristina and Stephan are longtime spiritual companions and retreat leaders whose work is rooted in meditation and psychotherapy. \n\n\n\nKristina is a psychotherapist\, Vipassana practitioner and healer. Stephan is a former Tibetan Buddhist monk with more than 40 years of meditation experience. \n\n\n\nTogether\, they create warm and grounded spaces for silence\, healing and awakening—inviting you to come home to yourself. \n\n\n\nRegistration and Payment \n\n\n\nYou register through payment. SUMMARY:Loving Awareness - A silent Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Heart Practices Inspired by the Tibetan Tradition\n\nA Silent Retreat with Stephan Pende Wormland\n\n4–8 August 2027\nTyresö\, Sweden \n\nThis retreat is an invitation into silence\, presence\, and the simple warmth of the heart. \n\nDuring these days\, we will explore heart practices inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist tradition—practices that help us soften\, open\, and come into more direct contact with ourselves and with life. \n\nAgain and again\, we return from the noise of the mind to something quieter and more essential: a loving awareness that is already present. It is not something we need to manufacture\, but something we can gradually learn to recognize and trust. \n\nThe retreat will include silent sitting meditation\, guided heart practices\, walking meditation\, mindful movement\, gentle contemplative inquiry\, and time to rest deeply in stillness. \n\nThe emphasis is not on performance or achievement\, but on simplicity\, sincerity\, and allowing the heart to open in its own way. \n\nWe will remain in silence throughout the retreat and abstain from social media\, news\, and messaging. This gives the mind time to settle—and the heart a little room to breathe. \n\nThis retreat is for those who long for silence\, depth\, and an atmosphere of genuine practice. \n\nDates and Arrival\n\nWednesday\, 4 August 2027 \n\nYou are welcome to arrive from 16:00.\nThe retreat begins with dinner at 18:00. \n\nSunday\, 8 August 2027 \n\nThe retreat ends at 14:00\, after lunch. \n\nVenue\n\nFatbursbacken 8\n135 60 Tyresö\nSweden \n\nPrices\n\n\n 4\,900 SEK – for participants who live nearby and sleep at home\n 5\,500 SEK – camping on the grounds or at the neighbouring property\, with access to a bathroom\n 6\,500 SEK – shared double room\n 7\,500 SEK – single room; only one available\n\n\nRegistration\n\nTo register or ask questions\, please contact Mårten and Bishakha: \n\nEmail: mozon63@gmail.com\nTelephone: 0739-347566 \n\nAbout the Teacher\n\nStephan Pende Wormland is a meditation teacher with decades of experience in Buddhist practice\, mindfulness\, and contemplative work. \n\nHe lived for many years as a Tibetan Buddhist monk and has spent long periods in retreat.
