We will tune into the tomb of Saint Francis in the heart of the Basilica. There, the silence is thick, almost like velvet. The air is filled with centuries of prayer and the quiet presence of something far greater than ourselves. It can feel as if Francis never really left — a direct experience of the everlasting mighty silence.
