Join our long-awaited weekend retreat with Stephan Pende, online or in person (Stockholm)!
On this weekend retreat, we will explore the death process, how to prepare for our death and how to support others on their journey.
It is difficult to accept the inevitability of our own deaths or the deaths of our loved ones. And although avoiding death is not possible, it is possible to prepare for death and equip ourselves with tools to help those around us engage with their own deaths in the most beneficial way.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama says in ”Book of joy”:
”The true measure of spiritual development is how one confronts one’s own mortality. The best way is when one is able to approach death with joy; next best way is without fear; third best way is at least not to have regrets.”
Stephan Pende will help us uncover our fears and ideas about death and impermanence and through teachings, discussions, and guided meditations we will explore how to live the life to die well.
Stephan Pende is originally from Germany, he has MA in clinical psychology and trained in Gestalt therapy. Stephan has studied and practiced meditation in multiple Buddhist traditions for over 30 years and has spent all together five years in meditation retreats. He was a monk in the Tibetan tradition for 11 years, and teaches meditation in Buddhist centers in Europe.
